Very nice atmosphere and very friendly service. We had potato and egg burrito and Barbacoa tacos. It was absolutely delicious! They even sell Barbacoa (cheek meat) by the pound to go.

I first tried Marilys last year on my travels through Elk City and was happy to see a new building and location this trip through. Good taqueria menu and flavors including "Street tacos", sopes, burritos, tortas and agua frescas Pictured are carne asada sopes, a chile verde burrito and 2 barbacoa tacos. All were good as was their salsas.

First of all I had low expectations because the place didn't standout. The prices are very very reasonable. I was annoyed because I asked for burrito with rice and beans and the said they ran out rice. I ask to substitute with soup and they said they ran out. So I got Alpastor burrito with beans on the side and a side of guacamole. I took a bite of the guacamole and the first thing I realized was it was freshly made chunky guacamole with the right amount of lime. It tastes home made. The burrito was out of this world. Better than Filiberto's. I came back the next day to get tamales and a burrito to go. I was just passing through.

An extra 5 min off the highway was totally worth it. We got breakfast burritos while traveling through on I40. The burritos were a great value for the portion size and the tortilla was high quality. I would recommend and will probably be stopping by next time we make this trip. The freshly squeezed juice was a hit and the young ladies working the counter were helpful and provided great service.

I love coming here. Whenever I've ordered a meal it feels more like a home cooked meal. The breakfast anytime is my favorite. They have coffee to go with your breakfast or aguas frescas along with soda, juice, and beer bottles. And some desserts.
